Alcotex and EIFS by OP Complete Facade at Renewed Toronto Island Airport

PorterfrontThe Toronto City Centre Airport (Porter Airlines) renovations and additions are nearing completion. OP was responsible for the Aluminum Composite Panel and EIFS applications on both Phases I and II of the downtown airport revitalization.

The project scope for OP included the application of over 13,000 sq.ft. of Alcotex Aluminum Composite Panels (ACM) and a Durabond EIFS system. The look provided by the Pure White (DM 1101) Alcotex panel layout allowed for efficient framing and field installation on site as well as quick panel fabrication in our shop.

There are a number of benefits that typical panel design can bring to your project:

  • More efficient use of material during CNC cutting
  • More output of panels in one day due to straightforward and repetitive fabrication tickets
  • Easier loading, packing and shipping

The common denominator for each of these benefits is that design is not sacrificed due to price. A modern look is still achieved within a project's budget.

Ontario Panelization wishes to congratulate Porter Airlines, Scott Associates Architects Inc., Maple Reinders General Contractors and all others involved in the success of the new city centre terminal.
